Collection: Nivada Grenchen

Since 1926, Nivada Grenchen watches have stood out in watchmaking, founded by Jacob Schneider in Granges (Grenchen) and taken over by his son Max in 1976. In the United States, they were distributed by the Croton Company.

A pioneer of automatic watches since 1930, Nivada Grenchen launched the Antarctic in 1950, a waterproof automatic watch worn by the US Navy's Deep Freeze 1 expedition from 1955 to 1956. In 1961, the Chronomaster, a chronograph water-resistant to 200 metres, was born, followed by the Depthomatic in 1964, the first diving watch with a depth indicator, and the Depthmaster in 1965, resistant to 1000 metres.
