Origins
To mark PAUSE's two-year anniversary, our watch boutique located in the heart of Toulouse, we wanted to celebrate this milestone in a meaningful way. Since our opening, many of you have followed us, shared our passion, and helped us bring this adventure to life. Therefore, we wanted to thank you by proposing a unique project: the creation of a watch in collaboration with one of the brands we appreciate the most.
The choice of Nivada Grenchen was a natural one. Passionate about the brand's history and creations long before becoming retailers, we had the opportunity to welcome it to PAUSE as soon as the boutique opened in May 2024. This relationship of trust, built over the years, made this collaboration as obvious as it was exciting.
Design
Right from the first discussions with Nivada Grenchen, an idea emerged: to imagine the opposite of what the Antarctic collection represents. Where its history is intimately linked to polar expeditions and icy landscapes, we chose to draw inspiration from desert expanses and their sandy hues. From this opposition was born the Super Antarctic Sable, a unique interpretation that plays on the contrast between two universes at opposite ends of the spectrum. It was this strong idea that guided every aesthetic choice of this limited edition.

We already have a prototype of the Super Antarctic Sable, which we would be delighted to show you. If you would like to see it in person, try it on, or simply discuss the project with us, you are welcome to visit our shop in Toulouse.
To ensure we can present this limited edition to you in the best possible conditions, we can also arrange an appointment. This can take place directly at the shop or via video conference if you are unable to travel (appointment booking at the bottom of the page).
This will be an opportunity to discover the Super Antarctic Sable in detail, answer all your questions, and share with you the story of this collaboration with Nivada Grenchen.
How to get it?
The Antarctic Sable will be available for pre-order from July 20th at 4:00 PM (UTC+1, Paris time). Initial deliveries will begin at the end of September.
The unit price remains the same as the classic Super Antarctic: €985
This pre-order phase is the best way to secure a copy, as only 50 pieces of the watch will be released worldwide. If you would like a specific serial number, please let us know when you place your order or contact us beforehand. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
