A new Rivanera, but still the same spirit
Since its launch, the Rivanera collection has held a somewhat unique place in Echo/Neutra's catalog.
While many brands constantly revisit the same codes, the Italian brand chose to develop a watch with a very strong identity. A watch that fully embraces its angular architecture, its extreme thinness, and its minimalist approach.
The Ros'Antico does not change this recipe; it simply interprets it differently.
By introducing a dial with pinkish hues, Echo/Neutra offers a new interpretation of the Rivanera. Warmer. Brighter. Almost more alive, while retaining the sobriety that has characterized the collection since its beginnings.
A Ros'Antico dial that completely changes the perception of the watch
This is obviously the first thing that catches the eye.
The Ros'Antico shade is not like the pink usually found in watchmaking. It evokes more natural stones slightly warmed by light.
Depending on the angle from which you observe the watch, the dial appears sometimes pink, sometimes coppery, sometimes even slightly champagne. One can discern some beige, salmon, and sometimes even sandy hues.
Combined with the blued hands of the rectangular Rivanera, this color creates a particularly elegant contrast. While the guilloché of the Rivanera Piccolo makes this color a little more mineral and vibrant.
This is probably what we appreciate most about this version: it dares to use an original color, without ever becoming showy. And Echo/Neutra is a brand particularly adept at choosing its colors with discernment.
It remains easy to wear, even with a very classic outfit.
A watch that impresses as much with its technique as with its aesthetics
The Rivanera Ros'Antico is not limited to its dial. Like the other models in the collection, it is based on a particularly accomplished architecture.
Its case is made of Grade 5 titanium with a sandblasted finish, a material prized for its excellent resistance, lightness, and comfort on the wrist.
Weighing barely 21 grams, you almost forget its presence once worn.
Added to this is an extremely contained thickness that further enhances this feeling of thinness. The Rivanera Piccolo does not even exceed 7 mm, even though it is an automatic watch.
The result is quite astonishing: a visually assertive watch, yet almost imperceptible in everyday life.
A shaped watch that doesn't try to copy others
The market for shaped watches is relatively small.
Many models adopt very classic codes or are directly inspired by historical creations.
The Rivanera collection takes a different path: its lines are more taut, its case more contemporary, its proportions more assertive.
Echo/Neutra nevertheless incorporates some Art Deco influences, but they are reinterpreted with great modernity.
