The Alpina Startimer Pilot Solarmetre Beige AL-140BR3S25 marks a significant evolution in the brand's aeronautical collection by integrating Solarmetre solar technology for the first time. It combines a new compact 38mm stainless steel case with a Champagne PVD finish with a grained brown dial and a sand-beige NATO strap. The Startimer Pilot Solarmetre thus maintains the highly legible identity of Alpina aviation watches while adopting more contemporary power technology.

The brown dial of this Alpina Startimer Pilot Solarmetre is slightly translucent to allow natural or artificial light to pass through to the solar cells hidden beneath its surface. This design preserves the look of a traditional horological dial while powering the AL-140 solar caliber. The grained brown dial features a date window at 3 o'clock as well as blue Super-LumiNova® details on the Alpina logo at 12 o'clock and on the second hand counterweight.

The Alpina Startimer Pilot Solarmetre is powered by the AL-140 solar quartz caliber, developed with the Swiss manufacture La Joux-Perret. Once fully charged, the watch can run for up to 10 months in total darkness. This Alpina movement handles the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, while automatically storing energy produced by the solar cells in a rechargeable battery.

With its 38mm diameter and only 9.32mm thickness, the Alpina Startimer Pilot Solarmetre Beige features particularly versatile proportions. Its champagne-colored steel case combines a satin-finished bezel, vertically satin-finished surfaces, and mirror-polished chamfers. It is protected by a sapphire crystal and benefits from water resistance of 10 ATM / 100 meters. Its beige NATO strap completes a lightweight configuration and an adventurous style, faithful to Alpina's Startimer universe.
