The Charlie Paris Initial Day/Night Aventurine 40 mm, base reference IDN-40-012, brings the reflections of aventurine glass into a watch with classic and contemporary lines. Within the Initial collection, it maintains a clean aesthetic while offering a visual depth that changes with the light.

On the aventurine glass dial, copper particles create luminous points whose distribution varies from one piece to another. The applied indices and lance-shaped hands create a clear reading, complemented by a minute track on the flange. The 40 mm 316L stainless steel case, polished and brushed, frames everything without distracting from it. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating preserves legibility and protects the dial.

The small seconds at 4 o'clock and the day/night indicator at 9 o'clock set the rhythm for this composition. The sun and moon accompany the cycle of the day; this is a day/night display, not a moon phase. These functions are powered by the Citizen Miyota 82S7 automatic movement, featuring 21 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve. Its operation can be observed through the transparent case back.

The Initial Day/Night has a thickness of 10.2 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 46 mm. It is available with six 20 mm straps: three-link steel, blue, brown, or chocolate leather, blue rubber, and Milanese mesh. Their tool-free interchangeable system allows you to change the style in a few moments. Designed and assembled in France, the watch offers water resistance of 3 ATM, or 30 meters, for daily splashes; it is not intended for swimming.
